Yay! Congrats! Emergency C-Sections = sucktastic, but beautiful babies safely delivered = wonderful.I'd tell you how to get her to sleep, but both of my babies came out with broken sleep buttons. Sorry.Very happy for you and your beautiful little family : )
Awww, she so has your eyes! Congrats!
What a beautiful post! Congratulations!
Wonderful! Congratulations! I hope she learns to sleep soon.
Woo hoo!Welcome to the world, little marshmallow-grape-baby! Congratulations to all!
Thanks so much, everyone! (And Kiersten...they actually come with buttons?! Oh, man. Babies are weird.)
Yay for babies. That is all.
Congratulations! I'm sure she's adorable! I wonder if she'll like grapes and marshmallows. My mother lived off Butterfingers when she was pregnant and I can't stand the things.
c-sections make nice round heads. like grapes.
aww.... so fun congrats cousin!!!
That was the most creative birth story I have ever heard...but I would expect no less from you!In reality, I am betting there was lots of crying, lots of pain, and lots of annoyance directed to every other person in the room for the mere fact that they were there and not in incredible pain...except for the Doctor. They are like dreams come true. Oh and the person that comes around with the huge happy needle.Okay maybe this was just me.Hope you are recovering well (having a baby is crazy isn't it?? I don't think anyone can prepare you for it)Just remember...you WILL sleep again, and you WILL look like yourself again...and you WILL love that kid more than anything else in the entire universe (but I bet that has already come to pass)
oh my goodness! you make me cry! love you sis
Many congratulations! I did not know you could make a baby with marshmallows and grapes...
Super Cute Marshmallow... I mean baby. Congratulations. Love you guys!
This post must be the first in a long series of Sunday "funnies" sytle comics. Can't wait for more adventures in parenting from you!! You can call it The Criddles in Babyland or something less dorky.Seriously, though...congrats, girl. I'm so happy for you and your family. Can't wait to see lots of pics of your squishy-firm grapemallow alien.
Ha!! From now on, that is the code name for my little girl: "squishy-firm grapemallow alien." Thanks again, all!
Congratulations!I loved your cartoon description. It was ingenious!
Hi Marie! I've been lurking around your blog for a couple of months now...but thought perhaps it was time to come out of hiding. I've congratulated the new Daddy a few times on the birth of your beautiful baby girl...but wanted to congratulate you, too! I look forward to many more stories, pictures, and meeting her someday. (Her uncle can't stop bragging about the fact that he gets to meet her on Tuesday.) Anywhooo....hope you get some sleep in every now and then...but in the mean time, enjoy every precious moment!
Congratulations!!! The pics that your mom forwarded were so beautiful - send more soon!! Hope you are getting some sleep!
You make me cry!!
Congratulations! Wonderful news!
Awwww... Those were the cutest ever. Congratulations.
It's totally late and I'm practically a blog-stranger, but I wanted to wish you congratulations and lots of happiness!
