My mind also has a game room. Jealous?

First off, thank you to everyone that visits here. I've been on hiatus with all the moving and grooving and keeping hope alive, so thanks for coming back after all this time. And if you're new, awesome! A great woman once told me that you should never enter a room saying "HERE I AM!" but instead with a sincere "Oh, there you are!" So...there you are!! So happy to see you, I really mean it. Anyways, you people rock, you really do. Lots of love and double rainbows.

P.S. My new house now has more that 500 square feet! You should come visit! We'll make weird cookies and go to the beach!

Oh my gosh that totally made me want to get in line! I promise Bob I won't cut—snarky unicorns always need to get written first.

LOVE this.
I'm going to try my hardest to be extra quiet today and just see who stops by.

Thanks, guys! Natalie, you are totally more than welcome! And Rebecca, here's to hoping a snarky unicorn might stop by for you too...they're kind of fun to have around.

LOVE IT!

Odd tangent: I just finished writing a review for a book called Broken by Karin Fossum and while reading this blog entry, I kept flashing back to that book.

It's about a novelist who sees a line of people waiting to have their stories told standing outside her home and one of the people cuts in the line and things go tumbling downhill from there.

Apologies if your Wishlist grows. :)

Another odd tangent: My WV is 'cathrous' which could totally be a character waiting in Marie's head. Cathrous the Conqueror, Zombie Robot to take on Bob the Unicorn..maybe?

Curses, Ann-Kat! Cathrous has now cut Bob in line! He's even surlier than before now! No double rainbow cake will placate him now.

(Also, thanks again to all for your kind words! And Robin, write arm...er...on. I believe in you!)

hehe...then I probably shouldn't tell you what my new awesome WV is, huh?

How about I just whisper it in your ear? (disca)

And now that it's out in the open, it could totally be Disca the Devourer, Vampire Fairy Queen out to seduce your plot device. Of course, she'd be too busy seducing and whatnot to cut in line, so Bob should be OK with her. :D

I should really stop. My imagination runs away with me whenever I visit your blog.

I'm tearing up, from laughter and gratitude (and maybe a tiny gas leak in my house). That is some fine praise indeed, thank you. :)

I hope if I'm ever a plot device on standby in Marie's mind I'm some L'Engle-esque character - rainbow iridescent who gallops across the surface of the moon. OOH and I'm tall - very, very tall. And SMART, but not in an obnoxious way, but in a Sidney Bristow sort of way. OOH and a Bond car...and...and...and...

So glad you're back to blogging again! Hope everything went well with your move & that you're enjoying San Diego!!

K. Marie Criddle said...

Amy, in my dreams you are way smarter than Sidney. And super tall, too, like...Bumpermellon tall.

And Katrina, thanks!! Let me know when you're in CA next, we'll crash the beach you're lounging on! :)
