I find your lack of pants disturbing.

These posts really do make my day :]. I think its a rite of passage to have a pair of pants like that. But my mom and sister don't think so.

Aw, thanks Britany! That's so kind of you. And I totally agree...these old pants have been with me for so many life milestones, I'm not sure how easy it will be to part with them. Alas. Progress and all that bull. Hope your mom and sis see the comfy light soon. :D

Haha. Are the new pirate pants more stylish, as well? They look a bit like the trendy Victorias Secret "sweats"...

Love the post, hehe!

Ha! Thanks, Kristan! I think they're Target...super stylish in its own practical right. Just need to take a few swims with the sharks to get them nice and torn and pirate-y. Arg!

Haha! LOVE the date pictures.

I, sadly, do not own a pair of the worlds most comfy pants, but I've always wanted some. Hm... Now to decide if they're worth swimming with the sharks for...

I have a pair of pants like that, and though my husband doesn't object to my wearing them, I can tell he isn't fond of them.

I love your comics.

I believe I know these pants.. Don't I? I think I did not want to be seen with you when you wore them climbing.... Lets go climbing in the new pants!!

Yeah Mom! Way to shop and be persuasive (I'm glad you found something comfortable). Not sure that Marie is convinced yet.

Bwa ha ha ha!! I love that your posts are infinitely entertaining even with a pants as the focus. I don't think I've had the, uh, pleasure of meeting said pants, but I loved your post.

I don't have any pants like these. Hmm, but maybe I should. I already have a husband... *ponders*

Love it! Mine cling-on clothing item is two tees from my Jr/Sr years of high school years ago. They have stood the test of time, but broken my husband's patience. ;)

Peggy - I have to say, don't rush the search for comfy pants. You cannot find them, they will find you. (from Zen and the Art of Slouchy Pants.)
Myrna - Wear your pants and wear them proud! It's nice to know I'm not the only one with such distinguished tastes. :)
Heather - Oh, these ARE the climbing pants. THE climbing pants. And next time we go climbing, I'll wear them still. You cannot change tradition!
Carole Lee - Not totally convinced yet, but I'm getting there! You can't fight comfy.
Keri - Ha! Thanks as always for reading! I don't think I'll be wearing the pants to the next crit group meeting, but who knows? The Living Room is pretty casual...
Jessica - YES! Old high school tees totally rock the house. Patience, schmatience...it's all about comfort!

You reminded me of my cut off at the knee dying grey sweat pants...why did I throw them away!?!?! Never throw your pirate pants away. You will miss them dearly someday. :)

I have pants like that and am married to a man that also keeps ings waaaay too long. *sigh* We're hopeless.

Would you please put some pants on? I feel weird having to ask you twice.

How did I miss this post? HOW? "Ich finde dein mangeln an hose stoern..." or something like that. "But I was going to do down to the Tashi station to check out some PANTS." "You can waste time with your PANTS when your chores are done." "Obi Wan never told you what happened to your PANTS." "TK421, why aren't you at your PANTS?" et cetera, et cetera...

Oh, the vast world of Star Wars/ Pants humor (wipes away a nastalgic tear).

I still have my choir shirt from 8th grade. It, too, is covered in paint and miraculously still fits. I'll never get rid it; never, I say!

Anywho, enjoy the new PANTS, but never give up your old relationship.

"May the PANTS be with you." Always.

Camilla, I hope you've learned your pirate lesson. :D Start wearing some new ones in! They might be a new awesome pair in a few years!

And Nikki, that sounds like a match made in comfy heaven. You'll NEVER lose that pair!

Steph, that's the WHOLE POINT. I can't decide which pair is more comfortable so I'm stuck wearing NEITHER. I'm just as uncomfortable as you!!

And Robin, the fact that you remembered the translation in German remind me why I like you so so much. PANTS! Du bist der awesome. Ich habe einem Barenhunger. Scorpions ist fantastick fur einem Gartenparty.
