Two things I want to make perfectly clear. 1. I have NEVER called it ST:TNG 2. I watched it for Patrick Stewart. Who wouldn't watch something done by someone who spent many years in the Royal Shakespeare company?
Nancy! You totally got it, it was the Rascals episode. Email me at kmcriddle @ gmail . com with something awesome and silly I can scratch out for you! :D
And Heather, I don't think we would have made good twins. We could have killed each other over the DARK MOON book...the only reason I let you read it first was because you were older than me. Thanks for being a good nerdy inspiration, though.
And P. Criddy...yes, I totally believe you. Watching it only for Patrick Stewart, sure. And I only watch it for Wesley's sweaters.
My husband was (and is) too "cool" for me. He wasn't in marching band, he played football. Horrible. I'm always working to draw out his inner nerd (it's there). :)
Kristan - I knew you'd have my back on this one! :D
Charles - NICE. The ST version of TIL. :D (acronyms FTW!)
Yvette - There is nerdom in him yet, I know it! Tell him this is a judgment free zone, he can geek out to his heart's content. (BTW, marching band was TOTALLY where all the cool kids were.)
Yay! Now I'll have to think of something silly for you to draw. Time for a brainstorming session with my friends. ;)
The funny thing is, I didn't even seen the quote by the computer. Rascals is one of the few episodes where Chief O'Brien and Keiko are frequently in the same frame together, and it fits your description of being a silly ep--though it's one of my favorites too.
DARN IT! I totally thought it was the one where Troi shot Data. My hubby and I haven't seen it in a mess of years, but we still insert Data's hand movements into every conversation possible.
And wouldn't you know it-- Youtube has a 30 second clip of it! :)
Charles - I admit, I had to look up Sokath. It's been a while! Nevertheless, the nerdly learning continues. :D
Nancy - WHOA. I'm doubly impressed! And it's not even the silliest one! I think we're ST soulmates.
Peggy - Oh. My. Gosh. I called Pres over to watch that and we've been making that hand gesture about three times a minute since. Hilarious!! Any episode with Data doing something like that is a certifiably silly one indeed.

How cute!!!
I am so sad that I don't know the episode. I love ST:TNG.

It wouldn't happen to be the episode when the away team runs into the anti-aging... thing and all turn into kids, would it?
Nice to hear you can still surprise each other now and then.
Aww, this is adorable! :D
Haha I think Nancy got it. I never watched Star Trek but I read your tags and googled "star trek my number one dad" and got the episode Rascals. :)
HA... I would have to say that was my favorite episode as well. Maybe we should have been the twins.

TNG was the bomb! That was my first foray into nerddom. So glad to know I wasn't the only one. :)
"Sokath, his eyes uncovered!!!"

Haha, I had to look up TIL. Oh, sweet irony!

Oh yah! Presto the magnificent can officially be part of our uber nerdy family!! So happy for you guys!
*sigh* I was never into Star Trek. I think my nerd-dom bloomed later in life :).
