Spooky! Scary! This whole premise is sweaty!

Exciting news, people!! Come back tomorrow for a crazy special GUEST DRAWG in celebration of my friend Susan Kaye Quinn and the launch of her book OPEN MINDS. It will be a blog to behold with contests and prizes and drawings (literally!) and most of all, the debut of one of the COOLEST books I've ready this year. So come back tomorrow! And bring some leftover Halloween candy. I'm a SUCKER for candy corn.

I LOVE that you dressed up your child as the Thoroughbred of Sin.

Question: Does your baby have a horrible death whinny?

Ha! Thanks, Sylvia! And Adam, YES, she does have a death whinny. It sounds like "Feeeeed meeee-e-e-e-e-e-e!" and it is far from gleeful. Hi-ho, Silver.

I wish I could say I can't believe you dressed your daughter as Bad Horse...but I totally can. Did you have a freeze ray?

Also...Nano? No Nano? Which for you this year. (I am TOTALLY Nano this year.)

Yeah, we were Priests, like from the movie Priest (see my blog: www.smilefeelgood.com) and everyone was like, "why do you have crosses on your heads?" (sigh)

Christine - No freeze ray, but the horse head DID stay on for longer than a few minutes. Success! (Ooo, I should save it for our "Godfather" costume next year...) And as for Nano? I haven't decided yet. I should, shouldn't I? at least to add to an existing WIP? Urrrrrf, writer peer pressure!

Jessica - Ah! Sounds awesome, but I can imagine the constant explanation was tiring. Ah well...at least we all knew who we were, right? :D

Hee! I totally identify with #2.

Yay cameo from Hobbes!

Nope, I tried number 2, doesn't work. When you finally return to the window the blank white page will have developed a sense of humor. It's not very funny.

Happy Halloween!

Blinding white has been scaring me, too! Of course, not quite as bad as four cats with vampire teeth and sharp claws would. Shiver.

Um. Your family halloween costumes make me <3 you more than ever.

WHY ARE YOU SO FAR AWAY?

Best family costume ever...and I love the fact that you are slowly, but ever so surely, starting to hate cats. Oh sure, you will deny it, but we all see the signs. Love your guts, even the not so important ones!

Kristan and Brittany - I know, right? Blank word documents are MEAN.

Peggy - YES! One DID have vampire teeth...and I have the scars on my arm to prove it!

L.T. - Aw, I miss you like crazy! I'm so ready to join up with videocrits ASAP!

Beth - Nooooooooo I love cats, you can't make me hate them like you do! You have no power over me!

OK, I guess I need to watch Dr. Horrible :D. And the blank computer screen - EEEEEK!!

YES! NANO! I'm using it to focus on my WiP. Goal = 50 pages. That's not a lot for Nano, but it's a lot for me.

Keri - You haven't watched Dr. Horrible?? OMG! Go now! You will LOOOOOVE IT!!
