When I saw the title to your drawg, I got so giddy!! I always start punching when I hear "What's My Age Again." And "Nightswimming" always makes me think of your drawing of the naked guy. Aww, I miss you girls! And Napster. But not Billy Blanks.
I *am* a college freshman, so this post is totally applicable! It is scary a lot of the time...and I guess it makes sense that that will never really change.
Oh geez, Tae-Bo... The bane of my middle school existence. "DOUBLE TIME!" But I bet it would have been more fun with girlfriends and Blink 182 than it was in the sticky gym with a bunch of hormonal pre-teens. :P
Still, this post made me smile, b/c I've been reminiscing about college a lot lately, just by coincidence. Whether it's battling the Freshman Fifteen together, or sledding down snowy hills on cafeteria trays, or whatever, we all have these special memories. :)
Um, not even joking, I still do Tae Bo while listening to Blink-182 all the time!! (Okay, like once a month, but you know..) And, I totally can't hear a Blink song without punching the air. So you're right, it's instinct!! And, I agree with Yvette... while we are no longer not liking 24 year olds, we are not middle aged. But yes... scared sometimes. :) Aw, good times!
Yvette and Jolee - YAY!! I was so hoping you guys would see this. Such fond memories...where 42 girls stop being nice and start getting real: T hall. And yeah, I guess we're not middle aged just yet... :) We're at that kick-a mom stage, right?
Susan - Ha! Awesome! Blink 182 seriously carried me through freshman year...and as much as we'll keep being scared, at least the things we're scared of *will* change.
Kristan - Aw, you did it in middle school? Torture! Yeah, it was pretty fun with all the chicas in the dorm. At least we had the choice whether to dress out or not. :)
Peggy - You seriously know how to make me feel good, Ms. E. :D Thank you!!!
Keri - Oh yeah, I totally forgot they were from SD! And I could've done a Blink homage tour while I was there! Le siiiigh. Oh well...next time.
Oh my god, stop reading my mind! I just started Tae Bo again, and I can't STAND the weird music in the background or him telling me to GET AMPED(!), and you've just handed me the perfect solution. You. Rock.

BTW -- we are NOT middle age yet.
Hugs!

I don't even know where to begin with the love on this one! I'll just sum it all up with YOU'RE FREAKING BRILLIANT, MARIE CRIDDLE.
There. I think that might cover it.

Aw, good times!
I tried a Billy Blanks workout once and OMG HE IS SO ANNOYING. I don't think I even finished the workout.
Heck yeah Blink 182!! They're from San Diego, baby. I loved the All the Small Things music video. It reminds me of high school :).

Kick-a mom stage, hells yeah! Love it :)
Please tell me you love Angels and Airwaves, too. Blink 182's lead singer, guitarist's current band is to die for. Love them.
