Try falling asleep to Metallica, the Mission Impossible theme, and 30 Seconds to Mars . . . very, very odd love scenes . . .

Man, I have GOT to get me some better, more random songs for my play lists! My face-on-keyboard dreams aren't nearly that interesting.

Sarah - Oh my gosh, I just had a very weird second hand dream from the mere MENTION of that list. :D

Peggy - I highly recommend Spotify! (the free version) At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, it's perfect for building some SUPER random lists. Never have the Matrix, True Grit and Les Mis felt so comfortable next to each other.

I write to the Doctor Who soundtracks... that could be a very, very interesting twist on my Jane Austen novel. Can you imagine what the Doctor would do to Colonel Fitzwilliam's spy story?

Nancy! Oh, I LOVE the Doctor Who soundtracks!! Turns everything into a time travel-y romp.
And PLEASE write a Fitzwilliam Who story...that sounds AMAZING.

My current backdrop appears to be my husband composing something jammy and unpredictable on his gee-tar. It makes for some equally unpredictable writing! My capcha is "uthoodu nalei." Which sounds like an awesome war chant.

uthoodu nalei! uthoodu nalei!

Write (haha) now I'm editing to The Cure. Takes me back to high school, which can be good and bad...just sayin'.
