I also had massive cravings for potatoes for most of my pregnancy as well, but pretty much no other real craving (except eating, eating and eating).
Glad to have you back.

Woo-hoo, an new drawg!!! What a perfect start to my day! For the record, I'd still read your drawg if it was about eggs and salt, or lack thereof.

Robina! YES, I want to see our blogs kicking and screaming before too long. And not from neglect. :) On second thought, no screaming.

Christine - Oh my gosh, I think in the 4 something years of blogging, you're among 2 to comment on that. :D ROAR!

sarah - CONGRATULATIONS!! That's absolutely wonderful! I have all my metaphorical fingers crossed for you and your happy fam. Yaaaaaaay!!

Jolee - I just LOVE you, Jolee BD.

Charles - Okay, I have to explain that. :) When Preston and I were first married, we were going through a box of old things from his parents house which, of course, included diaries. He was a very avid journaller as a 10 year old and that was one of the stand out entries: "We went to the Valentine's house and Mrs. Valentine made eggs with no salt. NO SALT AT ALL." It was brilliant and hilarious and so very Preston. In the last 5 years, I have yet to go a week without quoting it. Thanks so much for reading!!

Ooh I'm bookmarking any blog with surly unicorns. Also, I find scathing reports of saltless eggs deeply satisfying.

Aud - As Preston tells it, they were really atrocious enough to journal about. Salt for all!

SF - I'm paired with the great and powerful Peet's! Hooray! This warms the cockles of my soul, I tell you. THE COCKLES.
